At Hong Kong Veterinary Specialty Services, we understand that some surgical patients may benefit from extended overnight monitoring and hospital care following a procedure.

 

We also recognise that staffing limitations can sometimes make overnight hospitalisation difficult for independent veterinary practices, even when keeping the patient within the family veterinary clinic would be the preferred option for both the veterinarian and the pet owner.

 

To help support our local veterinary community, we are now able to assist selected practices by organising overnight nursing support for our surgical patients and hospitalised patients when required.

 

 

This service has been developed to:

• Support family veterinarians in managing more advanced surgical cases within their own practice

• Improve continuity of care by allowing pets to remain with the veterinary team they know and trust

• Provide appropriate overnight monitoring for patients requiring extended hospitalisation
